Cayo Perico Heist DLC Megathread

It's here boys and girls! The Cayo Perico DLC has been released!

"Unlike previous Heists, there is no specific style when it comes to approaching Cayo Perico.

Once you’ve gathered the necessary gear, you can choose to complete as much (or as little) set-up and planning as you want – though be warned that these decisions will, in turn, affect the way the action unfolds. If you want to call in an airstrike or use a cutting torch to burn through steel beams, for example, you would be well advised to put the time in beforehand.
Once all the groundwork is laid down, you can nail down your final details before approaching Cayo Perico. These choices include how you infiltrate and escape the island, your weapons loadouts, air support, and even the operation’s time of day. As a result, no two approaches are alike on subsequent playthroughs. And repeat visits will allow you to heist valuable artifacts and other valuables as they become available.
There is also a load of extra opportunities you can use to play to your advantage, such as breaking into storage lockups to raid hidden stashes of cash and contraband to bolster your bottom-line and fatten up your take. These chances and the tools necessary to complete them will rarely be found in the same place twice – some are only accessible when playing with multiple players, so joining up with friends is very much encouraged."

This Megathread will serve as the place to discuss all things related to the DLC. We will be updating this as more information is released, so keep checking back.

The Heist works very similarly to the Casino Heist. You have to hack cameras and scope out locations.

A pretty good Strat for the new heist

So I've managed to develop a pretty decent solo strat for the heist.
Today I managed to complete 2 heists. The first one I did with three of my friends and it was an excruciating chore. We kept getting spotted in the first few sections of the map and we had to restart about 15 times before just three of us made it out with just 2 million (to be shared among 4 people mind you). All in all pretty bad, would not recommend.

But I didn't give up after that and tried a second heist, this time solo.
To give you a quick rundown of what I would recommend to do:
-In the recon mission you have to do in prep for every heist i discovered a drainage tunnel in the bay where the mansion is located. Just jump into the water and swim to said bay and dive down to the tunnel and it will be automatically set as a possible infiltration point. This may take a while but you only have to do it once. After that it will be permanently available.
-You only have to do one vehicle prep mission, I highly recommend the submarine one as it's relatively simply and does not have a second mission to get a pilot (which is the case for the bomber and helicopter prep mission)
-Same goes for the weapons prep mission. Just do one of them and I highly recommend choosing a loadout with an assault rifle. Also buy the silencers for 5k.
-Do all the equipment and sabotage prep missions (You may skip the explosive charge one). With all the sabotage missions completed the guards will have no armor and will only have weak pistols and mps. Also no Buzzards will spawn.
-To save time on the prep missions use the fast travel function on the submarine to get as close as you need and then use the sparrow to fly to the location. Each fast travel costs 2k. (For some reason before you complete the heist the first time each fast travel costs 10k, don't ask me why)
-Then you play the heist itself. If you select the drainage tunnel as the entry point, you will effectively spawn in the mansion right from the get go, which saves a lot, and i mean a lot, of time.
-Use the silenced assault rifle for easy stealth kills. It's easy to take out two guards standing together in quick succession that way. Also guards and cameras don't seem to care if they spot a dead body. (sometimes GTA's horrible stealth system works in your favor lol) The only danger is the Juggernaut NPC, but you can easily just go around him.
-Collect the main loot (ie Madrazos files or later a big pink diamont or ruby necklace) which is worth between 1 and 1.3 million and just rush out of the mansion. Ignore everything else and make your run for the airstrip. It's easy to just avoid guards and the Valkyrie which spawns after you leave the mansion. The only problem are snipertowers, but you can take them out with a well placed shot even from far away.
-Collect some easy extra loot (cash, weed) at the airstrip until you can't carry anymore. Then swim/fly back to the submarine and you're done.
In the end you will earn between 1.3 and 1.7 million. As you don't have a crew like in the casino heist, basically all of that money is yours.
I highly recommend this strat. I only had to restart twice, mostly because I wasn't yet familiar with the enemies locations and routes. In my third attempt i rushed trough and did the finale in just about 25 minutes. Unlike my first heist this one was actually rather thrilling and dare I say fun.
If you're quick you can complete 2 - 3 heists a day, leaving you with at least 4 million (in case of 3 heists), which I would say is pretty decent. You can atleast make the money you paid for the sub back very quickly.
Also the first time you do this you will get an additional 300K (100K for doing this heist solo + 200K for doing the heist without being spotted)
tl;dr: I think this or a more finetuned version of this will become the meta

Edit: I have created a 20 minute Video to explain a more improved version of this strat in more detail. I would like to see some feedback from you.

GTA is missing something and here’s my solution

GTA is so fun because of your ability to cause chaos and start shit shows but I feel like it’s missing something, and I have an idea for how that can work.
Basically my idea is that the game has become more peaceful and true unadulterated chaos is more rare to see. You’ll see the occasional jet griefer but as a whole you don’t see people having fun just blowing stuff up anymore like you did in the old days.
So my idea is called chaos points
Chaos points are a weekly thing that rotate a wheel of redeemable items or abilities that can be purchased, so every week there’s a different thing available and that said thing will not be available again for some time until it goes back in shuffle.
Here’s how they work.
When you get a wanted level, every minute you survive is worth 10 chaos points, and this multiplies for every level of star you have.
Wanted levels from missions, sales, jobs, etc. DO apply, but only at 1/10 efficiency. So 1 minute in freeplay is 10 minutes of grinding, this is to encourage people to actually mess around and have fun the old fashioned way and not try to maximize earnings or whatever. You also get chaos points for kills, which are once again at 1/10 efficiency in jobs.
PVP jobs and heists are the exception, because these are meant to be fun activities. So kills on those specific jobs will award double points every other kill or every other minute, so you’d basically end up with about 1.5x chaos points.
Chaos points show up as a little number just like RP, it would be a little CHP bubble upon a successful trigger of a chaos point
You can store up some chaos points for the next week, but you can never have more than 5000 CHP at once. The reason is because the items you can redeem CHP for is about 3k CHP. So it protects people from over grinding if they can only have 5k. Which is exactly enough for 1 items and 2/3 of the way there for the next item them want to buy.
So here’s the various ways to get chaos points
NPC kills
Every hostile NPC kill you get will range from 1 to 4 points, needing 10 hostile NPCs to get a point if doing this in a mission or job or what have you. Points are awarded based on the “fun factor” of the kill. Only hostile NPCs that are currently aggroed onto you count toward this.
Anyway, that’s like 750 NPC kills to get 3000 points, which is achievable if you consistently are going on tank rampages or whatever but you’re unlikely to want to do that in one sitting.
Player Kills
These work the same way, except you’d receive 3, 6, and 12 points respective to the individual categories. This is to encourage player vs player interaction. Plus pvp against real players just requires more skill to begin with. You would not however receive points for killing players who are doing free mode events or sales or anything. I don’t think there should be any extra incentive to be mean to people who just won’t to grind.
This would mean 250 player kills to get 3k CHP. Which isn’t bad, I probably get 25 in a single playing session if I’m feeling like PvPing so if I wanted to grind that I bet I could get that done in a weeks worth of play
Some absolute bottom of the barrel cheap tactics will not award anything, like for instance orbital cannons, kills using the mk2 homing missiles (free sim missiles are fine), killing the same player more than 4 times in a 2 minute period, using a weaponized vehicle (aside from plane bombs) on players who aren’t, killing players on the AFK timer, etc.
I’m not saying to straight PUNISH these people, let them play the game how they want, but they just wouldn’t get to use those methods of killing to earn CHP. If they want free kills they can just fight npcs this way. If they just want the kill that’s fine but it should take some level of skill to grind out your CHP
PvP completion
After completing an adversary mode or death match, you will receive 100 chaos points as winner or 20 as loser.
This, as I mentioned, is 1.5x player kills, so you’d need about 167 high quality PVP kills in a week, plus the bonus you get for winning. So now reaching 3k points is seeming pretty achievable, because if you consistently win 50% of the time with an average 9 base level kills per round, that’s like 30 rounds of play to reach 3k points. That’s totally doable. Way more so than just free mode, so maybe people would actually play those pvp modes if it was good for grinding
Races
You get 1 point per checkpoint plus 50% of your score for finishing the race in its entirety without DNFing, and you double this amount for receiving first place with at least 2 other opponents finishing
So if you finish 67 of a 68 checkpoint race you get 67 points and that’s 45 of those races to get 3000.
If you finish that last checkpoint you’re looking at 22 races
And if you consistently finish first that’s only 11 races, perfectly doable
Heist completion
You will receive a bonus 50 chaos points per completion rank. So bronze gets 50, silver 100, etc.
Completing a heist challenges will double any and all points gotten on the heist. So if you got 200 points between the heist and the completion ranks, you’d get 400 when it’s all said and done if you did the elite challenge. Or 800 if you got a first time bonus with that. Stuff like that.
So in theory, just by setting up and finishing prison break with all platinum and an elite (thats 4 setups and an elite challenge finale) you get 1200, over a third of the way to 3k
That’s also perfectly doable
Be warned! You will not receive as much CHP if you are not playing with other players. The whole point of the idea is having fun with other players by competing or playing with them. So if you do a 1 man Cayo perico, that will only be 50 points as a completion award instead of 200 because there’s not 4. Plus casino and cayo only give completion awards for the finale anyway so grinding those is less efficient.
It’s a fair balance since those heists are so good for money but not chaos point grinding whereas doomsday and the apartment heists are really good for CHP
Spending
CHP spending would have about 5 items per week, they cannot be bought for money, ONLY CHP. Costing 3000 CHP each, which means it might take a long while to get it but you can certainly get it done in a whole weeks worth of time if you care enough
The types of things you’d see on the list would be in the same vein as the following, obviously there would be much more. Like 20x the amount of suggestions I have down below. But these are just some ideas I had for the types of things you’d buy.
The way these work is when you’re actually customizing an item you’d find an option that wasn’t previously there, kinda like how holiday horns will show up then disappear.
As you can see, these are all mainly free mode items that make messing around more fun:
This works by allowing you to put KERS on a zentorno for instance, or a kuruma, cars like that. This is not a strong boost like the f1 cars more like the Lectro KERS. It would be incompatible with the most elite cars of the division like the pariah in sports for instance, but in compatible cars like the T20 in supers for instance you’d be able to use this weak KERS boost in races.
This ONLY unlocks it on the car you buy it for, you have to buy it again to put it on another car
Like the previous suggestion, you pay the fee and then it unlocks the glass on that ONE specific car you bought it for. It’s the kind that takes several shots to break. You can put this on the specific armored cars that don’t have it, such as the insurgent or nightshark, or the side windows of the halftrack, or on arena wars windows, etc. not just any car only armored ones
These would be double whatever your hard mode pay is set to, so instead of how hard mode pays out 1.5x on the apartment heists this would be 3x, or on doomsday it pays 1.25x this would be 2.5x
Extreme mode would only be unlocked on the individual heist you pay for, and it would be incompatible with casino or cayo perico. Which is in part because that’s OP and also, you can’t really set the difficulty for those game modes in the first place.
as for difficulty, You’d have 0 lives, auto aim works like free aim assisted did back in the day, npcs have doomsday act 3 AI, and the weapon you choose to start with is the only gun you have in the entire heist unless the mission requires you to use something in addition such as a flare gun. No snacks or body armor.
As a cherry on top, all stats are reset to base levels regardless of if you maxed them out, and stats like gun recoil, bullet spread, aircraft turbulence, are increased
Your ammo resets back to max every check point reached, meaning that if you so choose to do this mission using special ammo types you won’t be screwed when you run low on ammo
Setups on extreme mode will pay the host as compensation for the difficulty, otherwise people would do setups on easy exclusively which wastes a lot of the point
This would be like a halloween week item. You’d have the jump, and the super punches like director mode. Just no invisibility, access to guns, or access to vehicles like you can in the free mode event. Your health is 3x normal and you heal double speed up to full health.
Fun thing to mess around with but you need to consider it’s not really OP, as some dude with a pistol could 1 hit you. It’s much more like being a walking arena war issi than anything.
You’d be able to buy these in the character appearance menu. They would be 99% cosmetic but a few animations might have some utility to them given the fact they make your character move different
You could buy, say a thief animation set which lets you have a Franklin lock pick animation, you could sneak in a full crouch.
You could buy a cowboy moveset, which replaces the animations with the red dead animations where they fit, so you’d do a slide rather than a roll, you run different, you have different fight moves. The tackle or choke animations wouldn’t transfer I imagine but maybe they could be used as the stealth takedowns for this moveset
Last item idea I have for you today will be:
This works kind like the skydive cheat animation mixed with the oppressor mk1 glide. Basically you hold your arms out, there would be flaps between your arms from the suit, and you’d be able to glide off of buildings and land in a roll. The suit would be unable to access certain vehicles such as motorcycles
So as you guys can see, it would be worth it to save up for the featured items, but at the same time it’ll be very difficult to buy more than 2 per week and you’ll have to wait a long time before it’s back in the CHP cycle
Impact
The most fun parts of the game, like pvp, or heisting would be played more. You’d see more people in planes fighting other people in planes rather than in planes getting cheap kills off level 2s. Sure you’d see some of that but it’s just gonna encourages more even playing field battles. Like maybe you’d see more tank fights and less jet griefing if the pvp community were focused on unlocking the new Chaos Point item instead of just leveling up their KD
Heisting would be more fun, having a goal behind it instead of just getting more money to buy more nothing.
Late game players would have something to grind toward, because they can’t just buy whatever items they want. They need to actually play the game, in fact it’s IMPOSSIBLE to save up a ton of CHP and you’re forced to play the game.
It also adds a bit of rpg mechanics, like unlocking the rare and exclusive special items and stuff. I feel like there’s a little bit of that like RP rank unlocks and stuff but it’s not enough to keep late game players interested. So having cycle based unlocks that it’s REALLY hard to unlock all at once could solve this issue

MOC Car Duplication glitch

Have a car garage filled up with the Faggio. Have an MOC with Vehicle storage MC club Preferably area war Issi fully upgraded for max $ Set spawn to Last Area.
Step 1 - go to the casino and walk up to the parking sign. Jump on the bushes and face the “I”.
Step 2 - go to creator mode from there. When in creator mode hover over the “Exit GTA V” option. open up the pause menu and go to online, and hover over Invite only session. Once you’ve done that Keep spamming “A” or “X” for PS4. you should get a black screen and be loading in the clouds. (For xbox if it’s taking too long go to the home page for a few seconds and go back to GTA it should work)
Step 3 - If you did it right you should be at the old casino. Now call in your MOC and your car you want to dupe. put the MOC in the middle of the empty casino parking lot and put your car into it. the animation should cut off.
Step 4 - Now you should be in the glitched out MOC. Kill your self now. The MOC should be going crazy. call it back to storage and call it in again. Then Park your MOC to where if you would go into it the back wouldn’t be able to come all the way down. putting it close to a wall would work. Put your Car into the MOC while it is against the wall. it should skip the animation and you will spawn in your car.
Step 5 - Now go to the MC president menu and send your car to storage. Next call in one of your Faggios. Drive your Faggio to the MOC and put it in there. you should spawn outside on the faggio. go to Mc menu and put it back into storage
That’s it you’ve Duplicated your car!
to do it again repeat steps 3-5 as many times as you want
Video - https://youtu.be/CnVVTRhNQB0
Edit 1 - I’ve been told that instead of using the faggio you can use a scramjet or a deluxo and the issi sells for more. i haven’t tried this but i’ve been told that it works
Edit 2 - glad to find out i’m helping so many of you get extra money. Happy duping and fuck cockstar

GTA VI Credible Leak ? spoilers

First off I’d like to state that all previous leaks about GTA 6 is a hoax. All of the leaks regarding GTA 6 taking place in any other area than Vice City, is a hoax.

Grand Theft Auto VI is designed to be the most developed video game in history, and redefine open sand box games, letting the player fully immerse in the world and storyline.

In Grand Theft Auto 6 the game will take place in Vice City, but the previous storyline leaks etc, is all fake. The plot is completely different,. The game will host 3 protagonists, one being a middle aged white man named Johnathon Brooks, but is often referred to as John. John is going thru a mid-life crisis, and lives on the returning area called Starfish Island. John essentially is a life long career criminal, and exposes the player to a new crime element, fraud. John was born in Carcer City, and moved to Vice City at age 17, after running away from his foster parents, not much is known about his previous life before then, except he was in a very poor family.

John got into the fraud game in the early 2000’s, and he is 38 in game. he earned his money thru many fraudulent activities like credit card fraud, bank fraud, and did a few small bank jobs, and laundered his money with his own car wash business. He lives in a $1.8m mansion that he bought with his illicit gains, and the FIB are on to him. He borrows money from the local gang in Little Haiti, where fraud is very prevalent, and he starts getting back into his older habits to pay off the gang. The FIB notices this, and he ends up doing dirty work for the FIB, in order to keep his freedom.

The second character is Samuel “Shotta” Stevens, who is a member of the Haitian gang. He is a black, Haitian based character with more character development, than Franklin from GTA 5. He is 26 in game. The game also focuses more on crime, and the gang element. The player will experience the brutal reality of the gang life in Vice City, in the slums of Little Haiti, from loan sharking and repossessing the unreliable clients, to brokering the sales, that being kilos of cocaine, for the South American Cartel. Samuel lives in a Section 8 apartment, in the Little Haiti Neighborhood with his grandmother, Amy.

Samuel just wants to move out of the hood, but loves the gang lifestyle, and this gets him caughtup in the FIB drama with John. The FIB cuts him a deal also, if he can snitch out his gang, which the player can choose to cooperate, or refuse. This will change the storyline of Samuel dramatically.

The Third Character is a man named Xavier Gonzalez. Xavier is a latino man born in Vice City, he is 40 years old, and a cocaine kingpin. He lives in Downtown Vice City in his lavish $1.5m penthouse. Xavier is friends with John from the beginning of the story. Xavier is apart of the story no matter what option you choose, providing cocaine to John to sell, OR, Providing cocaine to both John AND Samuel, to sell together, and to strengthen the gangs funds. The gang system is similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s system, and also has elements of GTA San Andreas. Xavier is also tied in directly to the nightclub business as well, having stakes in the returning Malibu Club, now run by the Jimenez Family, a latino Mafia, who has ties directly to the South American Cartel.

Each Character has a different personality and lifestyle, and will be a exceptional experience for the player. Former characters from past GTA’s will be making appearances. Luis WILL be returning, being a manager of the Malibu Club, Stranger and Freaks missions are returning with a more in depth story for every one of them
The map of GTA VI, will be bigger than GTA V and RDR2 combined, having several counties, having Vice City, based on Miami, the Vice Keys, based on the Florida Keys, The Everglades, based on the swampy Everglades in Florida. The game will also feature Orlando, which is named Corlado, and Tampa, named as Gulf Shore City, but downsized a bit. The game will feature sprawling countryside outside of Vice City and Corlado, with countryside towns, named Canisville, Centura, and Sentinel Point, along with towns along the Vice Keys. There is an Air Force Base, based of off Eglin Air Force Base, named Fort Sentinel. The Ocean is the Atlantic Ocean, with more shipwrecks to discover, plants and animals, and more. The game itself has as many animals as RDR2, and the player can hunt if they choose, although this is just a more of a minigame. Vigilante Missions will be back, along with Taxi Missions.
Character Customization will be better, from the belt on your waist, to the socks on your feet. Choose to your liking of luxury watches, rings, chains, earrings, featuring plain jane, to diamonds and rubies, emeralds, and more. Belts can be worn along with hightops, to lowtops and boots, and dress shoes. Pantlegs can be tucked into the footwear you choose, if the option is available. Tattoos will be back, along with hair customization. John is white so he can tan, or be sunburned, and the core system from RDR 2 is back aswell.

Tattoos will feature opacity and can also fade over time. You will be able to adjust the size of the tattoo. It will be able to be placed on over 10 different area of the body depending the size.

Since the core system is back, you will have to also bathe, to stay clean, otherwise you may notice changes in your cores.
You will have to eat to replenish cores, so you can cook in your safehouse, or go eat out in a restaurant, whether it be fast food or upscale. All characters can have relationships with women, similar to GTA 4 and GTA San Andreas. You will be able to buy extra safehouses around the map, and the amount of vehicles will be the same amount that are in GTA Online, and more. Every vehicle will be returning, and first person mode will be more enhanced, with more realistic vehicle interiors to immerse the player into every aspect of the game. South America will not be apart of the game, only Vice City and surrounding Areas.

Skills from GTA V is also being integrated back, along with exercising, to boost strength. Agility is a new added skill, and Strength will affect how hard you punch, kick, or melee in general.

Special Abilities so far, will not be coming back. This may be tweaked before release, but if they return, it will not be a major part of the game.

Car Customization is more advanced, different leather trims can be changed colors, along with wood trims and marble trims. You can add satellite radio, which lets you listen to radio stations in Los Santos, and Liberty City, but so far there is only two stations from each of those cities. You can also listen to all the radio stations across the counties. Neon is back, new spoilers and liveries as well, Along with different colors of tint. Subwoofers will be a standard upgrade as well.

Los Santos Customs is gone, and Pay and Spray is back, along with Viceland Kustomz, and Sentinel Bike Shop. You can also modify certain parts at the car dealerships.

The drug dealing system from GTA: China Town Wars is also returning, but a bit revamped. This is where the post office system comes in, from RDR2. Pounds of Marijuana sourced from Los Santos delivered by mail, to a post office near you. From weed to tabs of LSD, all the way to meth, heroin, and cocaine, you can reap major profits.

Casinos will be returning as well, one being a resort, others being small-time casinos. You will be able to rent a room in the casino and resort. The casino is named as the Malibu Casino and Resort.

Gunplay is improved with new realistic sounds. Interiors are just as detailed as GTA V or RDR2, if not more, I’d say. The insurance system from GTA Online will be integrated into GTA VI’s story mode, so losing a vehicle will not happen.

There is an abundance of new and old activities, that being over 50 strangers and freaks missions, drug supplying, or drug running, similar to GTA TBOGT’s drug missions. You can hunt, as stated before, but is more of a minigame than a money maker. You can fish as well, as fishing is a very popular sport, in modern day Florida.

There will be four strip clubs scattered around the map, one of them named Vanilla Unicorn South East, which is owned by Trevor Phillips, who is planned to make a cameo, only to be featured in a cutscene so far.

After 9 hours of attempting Cayo Perico it's time to call it quits: The pros and cons over other heists

Some of this may come off as a rant but here are my pros and cons of the new heist
I've spent 9 hours on one heist and below are some of the things I've learnt and an opinion, 6 hours were spent on setup and the remaining 3 were spent failing on the finale.
The island is beautiful, first and foremost, it is really visually pleasing. It's new and shiny, there is a lot to do, which I found both good and bad.
The most frustration came from simply not being able to complete it despite watching guides on youtube, the best guide I found was this, it takes you through chapter by chapter, other than him saying everything is simple - it's not. It was well put together and easy to follow.
First learning point was on the setups, you really need to do the drainage tunnel, it is by far the easiest way to get to the mansion. At first I was doing the north dock before I looked at any guides and this proved incredibly hard as you have to travel across half the island before you even get to the mansion.
I quickly found that the guide was linear, when I was following it, rarely was anything the same, as soon as once you get caught you may as well quit and start over. Getting out after being caught unless you take your sweet time is very hard, getting shot through the trees and brush is frustrating as hell, given you have almost no visibility even during the day, the enemies just blend in and shoot you through everything. (Also invisible NPC's, NPC's that spawn out of no where and of course getting shot through walls on several occasions). The patrols were also slightly different, some enemies denoted by the skull are not in the same place as the guide, thus getting caught and dying repeatadly.
Cones of vision - I got caught a lot when getting intel, be extra careful or you will add a bunch of time to it, I really feel stealth wasn't thought out at all in GTA as a whole, so why they set a whole heist around it baffles me.
It was fun and entertaining up to a point, but then it became tedius, the random bushes you can't drive through, the trees which just seem to have square collision boxes around and the enemies that have pin point accuracy once the alarm goes off.
I'll give it another go when they release a patch to fix the broken stuff, but until then I don't want to try it anymore, it's just overall frustrating. I'll be heading back to doing casino heists with randoms
The biggest takeaway is that if you get caught, just restart the finale, save yourself a headache, I wish I did this on numerous occasions, but thought I could just stick it out, but once the alarm rings it's just bad news from then on.
For those that have done the heist, I hope you enjoyed it, wasn't my cup of tea to be honest but one size doesn't fit all :)

Sets/Hangouts of each Gang/Set

Sets in GTA Online
Families
CGF/Chamberlain Gangster Families - Chamberlain Hills half/Western half of Forum Drive, from the project buildings (except the 2 project buildings on Carson Avenue which CAF own) as well as the skate park/baseball pitch West and North of Chamberlain Hills - They chill all along the Chamberlain Hills part of Forum Drive as well as the Chamberlain Hills skatepark and baseball pitch - They’re mainly at war with OCB but also ESB - Very active at daytime and nighttime
FDF/Forum Drive Families - Eastern half/Strawberry half of Forum Drive, the 1-story houses along the street as well as the 1 project building on the Northern side or the road (the 2 project buildings on the Southern side of the road along Carson Avenue is CAF) - They chill all along the Strawberry part of Forum Drive. In-between a Salon and a Mexican in an alley on the North side of Strawberry Avenue close to were it meets Innocence Boulevard as well as the car park to the Mexican restaurant here too. In an alley to the South side of Innocence Boulevard close to wear it meets with Carson’s Avenue opposite Power Street - In the story we learn they’re a new set who broke away from the CGF set, created by Franklin and Lamar - They’re mainly at war with ESB but also OCB - Mainly active at nighttime
CAF/Carson Avenue Families - Carson Avenue, in both Strawberry and Chamberlain Hills. They’re from the 4 project buildings along Carson Avenue (2 either side), in-between Forum Drive and Strawberry Avenue - They mainly chill in the alleyway in-between their two project buildings on the Southern half of Carson Avenue and in the alleyway behind their two project buildings on the Strawberry side of Carson Avenue, as well as on the walls on the Chamberlain Hills side of Carson Avenue and on the Strawberry Side of Carson Avenue outside the ‘Tahitian’ on the corner where Carson Avenue and Strawberry Avenue meet - A gang attack happens in one of the project buildings on the Chamberlain Hills side of Carson Avenue - They’re at war with both OCB and ESB but don’t bang that much - Mainly active at nighttime and rarely active at daytime
DNF/Davis Neighbourhood Families ^ - Originally from Davis, they don’t chill there due to Ballas taking over the whole neighbourhood - They chill at other Families set hangout spots, and are distinct due to wearing grey, black and white clothing which often says Davis or Dust Devils on it and not really repping green - The only reason we know they’re Davis Families is because of the director mode has them as Davis Families alongside Chamberlain Families and Forum Drive Families, although they don’t spawn naturally in Davis - They’re mainly at war with OCB but also ESB
Theory of why they aren’t in Davis and where they moved to: - There are no blocks in Davis which the ESB and OCB don’t claim, meaning they can’t really live in Davis anymore, so here is a theory of where they moved to - DNF was the new generation of the Grove Street Families. The Ballas and Families had a truce, and the OCB started recruiting young teens from DNF territory but since DNF and OCB were friendly it didn’t matter, until the truce ended and all the younger members were OCB so the DNF older members had to move - They moved into 2 CGF project buildings, the ones only enterable via Strawberry Avenue or the alleyway behind it, the two buildings sandwiched between a small CGF building and a CAF building in the Chamberlain Hills neighbourhood. - CGF sanctioned them to recruit the youngsters from these buildings, however the older members who live in the buildings are a mix of CGF OG’s who always lived there and DNF OG’s who moved there
Ballas
OCB/Original Covenant Ballas - They control Southern Davis, from the 1-stories houses all along Grove Street, Covenant Avenue and Brouge Avenue until it meets Carson Avenue. - They mainly chill in the cul-de-sac but can be found chilling all along Grove Street, as well as the alleyway opposite the the West of Covenant Avenue as well as the area of Brouge Avenue in-between Covenant Avenue and Grove Street - They’re mainly at war with DNF and CGF - Very active at daytime but much more active at nighttime
ESB/East Side Ballas - They are from the 2 Davis blocks in-between Davis Avenue, Macdonald Street, Carson Avenue and Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. The Northern part of Brouge Avenue runs between their two blocks. - They mainly chill in an alleyway between a discount store and an iron worker’s, as well as outside a liquor store, both on the East side of Northern Brouge Avenue, and in an alleyway in-between 2 houses on the West side of Northern Brouge Avenue. They also spawn on the block the court is on directly North of their 2 blocks, they chill on the Northern side of Macdonald Street near the ramp paving as well as along Davis Avenue on this block. - This set is largely nocturnal and rarely spawns outside or night hours - They’re mainly at war with FDF and CAF but also DNF and CGF - Only active at nighttime
SRB/South Rancho Ballas ^ - They chill at other Balla hangouts, and can be identified as they often wear clothing says Rancho, also they’re the only Balla set to wear biker helmets, durags, baggy vests and/or hoodies (the other sets wear tight vests, baggy shirts, caps, varsity jackets and/or bandanas) - So if you see a Balla that has a biker helmet, durag, hoodie and/or baggy vest it’s a SRB member - The only reason we know they’re South Rancho Ballas is because the director mode has them as South Rancho Ballas alongside East Ballas and OC Ballas, although they don’t spawn naturally in Rancho - They’re mainly at war with OLSV and NSV
Theory of why they aren’t in Rancho: - I’m assuming they’re from South Roy Lowenstein Boulevard, from the the 1-storey houses on the 2 Rancho blocks that run along Roy Lowenstein Boulevard in-between Dutch London Street and Macdonald Street - However only they’re only from the Western part of these blocks from the 1-story houses which face the Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. SRB don’t spawn there due to being close to Vagos territory - It makes sense for them to be here, as these are the only parts of South Rancho where Vagos don’t spawn - The Eastern halves of these two Blocks which run through Jamestown Street belong to the Vagos, with their members coming from the 1-storey houses on these blocks which face Jamestown Street
GSB/Grove Street Ballas OR DZB/Dead Zone Ballas & WSB/West Side Ballas - These aren’t real sets, but I made it up if any of you wanna roleplay as if there are extra Balla sets - They are sets that broke away from OCB with their permission due to becoming bigger than the set that originally recruited them - If you use GSB: They are the ones along all of Grove Street, and they broke away from OCB due to being bigger than the set which recruited them which is OCB - if you use DZB and WSB: The backstory is OCB made sure Grove Street was split in two, so they would remain the strongest and biggest Balla set - If you choose to roleplay with DZB and WSB as sets, then DZB members would be the ones chilling in the Cul-De-Sac and WSB members would be the ones chilling in West Grove Street - Brouge Avenue’s centre-line is what splits Grove Street in half - OCB members are now only the ones chilling in the alleyway opposite Covenant Avenue as well as the Southern part of Brouge Avenue between Covenant Avenue and Grove Street. - OCB chill close on their border with Grove Street since it’s safer than chilling along Covenant Avenue - DZB very active both daytime and nighttime, WSB active at daytime and very active at nighttime
Vagos
OLSV/Original Los Santos Vagos - They are from South Jamestown Street in Rancho (the area of the street in-between Carson Avenue and Dutch London Street) from the Rancho Projects on the east side of the road and the 1-story houses on the west side of the road - They don’t control the entire block opposite West of Rancho Projects, just the East Half facing Jamestown Street, as the West half of this block which faces Roy Lowenstein Boulevard is where SRB members are from - They chill all along their part of Jamestown Street in between Carson’s Avenue and Dutch London Street on both sides - They’re at war with SRB - Very active at both daytime and nighttime
NSV/North Side Vagos - they’re from the 4 blocks full of 1-story Houses in Rancho, in-between Innocence Boulevard, Roy Lowenstein Boulevard, Little Bighorn Avenue and Carson Avenue (with Jamestown Street and Macdonald Street running through their blocks) - They only control half of the block in-between Carson Avenue and Macdonald Street, the half which faces Jamestown Street. SRB are from the half which faces the Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. - They mainly chill along on Jamestown Street in-between the 2 Southern blocks of their territory, but also chill in the alleyways of the 2 Northern blocks too - They’re at war with LVA and SRB - Active at daytime rarely, mostly active at nighttime
ESV/East Side Vagos - They are from around the Cypress Flats area, along Orchardvile Avenue in-between Innocence Boulevard and Dry Dock Street - They chill along Orchardvile Avenue in-between Innocence Boulevard and Dry Dock Street, as well as in an alleyway on the South side of Innocence Boulevard in-between south Shambles Street and Orchardvile Avenue - They’re a very active set, spawning in Cypress Flats for 2 gang attacks (the Railyards in the South of Cypress Flats and Steel Foundry in the North of Cypress Flats) as well as at the El Burro Heights Scrapyard, and spawning in large numbers on their turf chilling - There is no residential housing or buildings in the neighbourhood except for one 5-story block of flats at the Northern-tip of South Shambles Street it seems, so it’s possible some of the warehouses were converted into flats which is possible since all the business are shut and the area is only filled with ESV and pedestrians - They’re at war with OMBG - Very active at both daytime and nighttime
Marabunta Grande
OMBG/Original Marabunta Grande - They are from El Burro Heights, in-between Amarillo Way and El Rancho Boulevard, from the one story houses of Amarillo Vista and Fudge Lane, chilling at Fudge Lane - They don’t spawn in Online, likely due to being pressured constantly by ESV, an extremely active set who they beef with from the Cypress Flats - They’re at war with ESV - They’re not active in Online, only in Storymode
SVMB/South Vespucci Marabunta Grande - They’re from South Vespucci, from 4 blocks either side of Melanoma Street (in-between Bay City Avenue and Goma Street) - Their territory consists of serval small 2-story and 3-story flat buildings - They chill near the alleyway on the South side of Melanoma Street and are the same group which appear in the gang attack at Vespucci Canals - They’re in conflict with the Armenian Mob, Chinese Mob and Korean Mob due to be territorial and dangerous - They’re at war with the Armenian Mob, Korean Mob and Chinese Mob, being the main reason these mobsters don’t chill on their blocks/turf - They don’t chill near the flat buildings in Online, instead they only appear for a gang attack in the Vespucci Canals, where they’re highly armed and in big numbers
EVMB/East Vinewood Marabunta Grande - The group that chills in the sewers under the bridges that take you from the Casino Car Park to Mirror Park - They’re from the houses and flats on the 3 blocks either side of York Street and Tangerine Street - Although it’s in Vinewood in a nice neighbourhood, the area where they stem from is fairly gritty, consisting of small flat buildings and 1-story ghetto houses, as well as businesses such as a motel, taxi hq and a laundromat for example, most look like struggling business, with the area being a baby ghetto inside a nice neighbourhood - They likely have to chill in the sewers so they aren’t too close to the East Vinewood Lost MC Clubhouse - They’re possibly at war with the Lost MC - They are the only Mara set found in free roam in Online (outside gang attacks and missions) - They’re only active at nighttime
Lost MC
They don’t have sets but have 4 hangouts Stab City is home of the Blaine County Chapter and East Vinewood is home to the LS Chapter
Gangs/Mobs with no territory
VLA/Varrrios Los Aztecas - One set/block block which is North of the compound, East of the hospital and West of the railway tracks - They chill mainly on this block, mainly standing outside the theatre and the block of flats here - They don’t spawn in Online free-roam, although they’re still active (their block is always surrounded by drug-addicts and prostitutes during night time hours, so they’re mainly just trappings and pimping and aren’t banging these days) - They likely can’t post outside their flats due to being too close to the NSV blocks - They can also be seen in free-roam via the MC contract called gun-running where they’re in an arms trade with the Lost MC and Italian Mafia
Armenian Mob - They own and run the scrapyard as a front for money laundering - They only chill at the scrapyard - They don’t spawn in Online, likely due to the Maras, a very violent and territorial gang, becoming more aggressive (posting in the Vespucci Canals for gang attacks with heavy weaponry and high numbers) - South Arsenal Street which runs along the length of the scrapyard is always filled with prostitutes, implying they’re pimps even though they don’t spawn there much in Online
Chinese Mob/Triads - From the block on the West side of Ginger Street in Little Seoul across the road from the car wash and convenience store - They mainly chill on and around the stairs of this block, and share their territory with the Kkangpae who sometimes spawn here - They don’t spawn in online, likely due to the Maras becoming more aggressive (posting in the Vespucci Canals for gang attacks with heavy weaponry and high numbers) - A few prostitutes spawn outside their flats suggesting they’re pimps even though they don’t spawn there much in Online
Korean Mob/Kkangpae - From the block on the West side of Ginger Street in Little Seoul across the road from the car wash and convenience store - They mainly chill on and around the stairs of this block, and share their territory with the Triads who sometimes spawn here - They don’t spawn in online, likely due to the Maras becoming more aggressive (posting in the Vespucci Canals for gang attacks with heavy weaponry and high numbers) - A few prostitutes spawn outside their flats suggesting they’re pimping even though they don’t spawn there much in Online
Italian Mob/Bonelli Mafia Family - They don’t spawn in free-roam except for 1 Biker mission (other than this they are only in 1 story mode mission) - In the story mode mission we learn that they own most of LS’s construction sites - They appear to be allied with the Professionals, or they are at least hiring them, as they appear at a lot of gang attacks on construction sites, including the site where the story mode mission takes place
Martin Madrazo’s Mexican Cartel - They guard Martin Madrazo’s Ranch which is called La Fuente Blanca - This is where they chill - They’re a Mexican Cartel led and run by Martin Madrazo
El Rubio’s Colombian Cartel - They are on Cayo Perico, which is El Rubio’s island which is only visitable during the Heist there - Members can also spawn in free-roam for a random event, where they’re drunk and where you can find a key for an El Rubio Office, although if you already have the key you will just find cash
Duggan Crime Family - Texan Crime Family which now owns the Casino - The appear in the Casino Penthouse missions and Casino Heist
Key: Chill on the turf of other sets = ^

Why do we feel disappointed with Cyberpunk 2077?

In this post I will be outlining all the aspects of the game ASIDE from the bugs that contribute to the communities disappointment in this 'action-adventure' (not RPG apparently) game, ie anything that the managers and planners had long term decisions about. This is very long and is compiled from posts within the community on reddit and in news, CDPR public statements and my opinion.
I would like to start with the opening statement that I believe the bugs will be fixed, I accept the performance issues are a major problem and were poorly handled by CDPR. This is indicative of very poor management of expectations and execution of what must have been a 'plan'. Now I will proceed with my perceived the gameplay issues / disappointments.
  1. Story and immersion - story itself is very good, however they have created a beautiful world with no life, as people have seen when comparing the AI and NPC's to RDR2 and the immersion into the life of your character, it is jarring how bad the NPC's can be in Cyberpunk, the same people sat in the same place all the time saying the same things. We know the technology and ability exists, no reason this wasn't possible.
  2. Fighting mechanics, styles and abilities - comparing them to any of the other games in the market inc. Witcher I was underwhelmed. Skill trees add so little it doesn't feel like you can do interesting and impactful specs (I was focussing pistol dmg and multipliers with loads of points and just can't tell the difference when fighting). Not to mention other aspects like fun tools, different fighting combos for melee weapons, some sort of equivalent of poisons on your sword in Witcher and all the different spells used for diff opponents and scenarios and actually having to think like we do in similarly made games. Cyberpunk is point and shoot, oh and this bullet can go round things, and this bullet is bouncy. Ok GREAT let me continue dribbling onto my controller as I click that button. Not to mention the melee combat is a joke, hitting enemies with gun butt does next to nothing and hardly stuns enemies, the blades and bludgeons have few animations and are clunky, there is no fluidity to the combat, no counters or combos which just makes it stale and repetitive - disappointing considering how fun the Witcher combat was.
  3. RPG mechanics and world detail - we have already been over the NPC's, now I will go over the distinct lack of things to do in the city and what features I feel they have completely overlooked in a show of gross mismanagement. Take back to GTA San Andreas, Assassins Creed and Skyrim and you have tonnes more things to do in the world. It just feels so empty. No real character and car customisation and the stress on stats ultimately gives you no choice in making your character look how you want - not that you ever see him. All I do is drink and fuck a few prostitutes, honestly it's a fucking deplorable decision to attract dirty little teenagers. Feel like you have debased yourselves with the lack of tact and imagination here. For me it's easy to imagine what could be easy to include and has been in other games, why not in Cyberpunk? Perhaps multiple food vendors, barber / tattoo parlour, gym or a cyberware training centre, casino and gambling tables, mini card / board games, sports games, chop shops, black market, guilds and associated missions, bank and shop robbing, pickpocketing, treasure hunts, more puzzles, points of interest and high viewpoints, to name a few ideas - all of them previously done.
  4. Character and Vehicle controls - combat mechanics and stealth are clunky unintuitive and often simply don't work. Stealth is too difficult and I don't feel there is a difference with these mechanics on other difficulty settings (but can't confirm this now), the execution system is awful I usually end up spotted while I'm holding on to an enemy - just let me dispose of him and carry away with ease. The hacking in the game is no fun, you could make this so entertaining and funny) not much more to say here. Driving is ok but could be improved, drifting or cornering doesn't feel right. The HUD is a mess and the mini-map is ridiculous while driving, you can never see the corners coming so you just end up crashing every time there is a turn or you have to drive slowly all the time.
  5. The dream - the promise and idea this would truly contend with the top games out there and change the face of gaming, this was certainly the idea sold to me and with the time involved in development and the communications we received I was expecting something truly innovative. I would like to say that I enjoy this game and aside from bugs on release it's worth the money for me - but this is not the point I'm making. We all wanted this to be as good as it could be and it feels like it's lacking. I cannot for the life of me think of anything really new / innovative in this game; yes a brilliant story, yes the possibility of incredible graphics with a top end PC, however, the amount of stress put on lip syncing technology, making screenshots, ray tracing, in depth stories and extra 'out-game' content like merch and comic stories just seems ridiculous when they have such better things to improve.
Its like serving a terrible dinner on a beautiful ornate plate, what's the point if it tastes bad?

Diamond Casino Heist Guide

Please, whenever possible, link this post to help out your fellow players.
This is best with 2 players, if possible, to maximize profits.
You'll need an Arcade, here's a list of all of them.
I prefer the Eight Bit Arcade because of its location and accessibility to the Garage, as well as the fact that it makes most preps spawn in the same locations for easier completion of preps.

Here's a list if guides that'll help with getting started with the Diamond Casino Heist:

Scoping Out

Scope Out Guide [Skip to 4:36]
All Access Points
All Points Of Interest / POI

Tip 1:

While doing Casino Heist preps, you can make Lester shut up and show the mission objective faster by giving one of your contacts (Mechanic, Assistant, hell even Brucie) a call, as long as you know the contact you call will pick up the phone and not just leave you ringing.

Tip 2:

[Make sure to call Simeon or Martin and request a job before you start a prep, as you cannot request a job while doing Casino Preps]
In some missions you are unable to call Lester and call the cops off of you. During these missions, you can get the cops off of you for free by calling Simeon or Martin and request a job. Once you get the job, join it.
AS SOON AS YOU JOIN THE JOB, LEAVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you don't quit, you run the risk of the Host starting the job and therefore cancelling the heist prep.
Once you leave the job, you'll be back in Freemode with no cops on you, and you'll still have your heist prep equipment.

Note:

There are two Access Points that are required for the way I run the heist, in Aggressive and The Big Con (Gruupe Sechs), being the sewer entrance on the right side wall in the first opening, and the tunnel entrance leading into the center of the track.

Scope out the Casino

Look for Artwork and Gold, as they are the best (unless Diamonds are available in the vault. In that case, Diamonds are the best)

Changing vault contents

If you've completed all three approaches (Silent & Sneaky, Aggressive & The Big Con), you'll have unlocked the ability to cancel the Casino Heist by calling Lester. You can use this to cancel the heist if you get Cash, or any Vault Content item you don't want.
If you find the Vault contents and get something you don't want, like Cash, you can call Lester while still in the Casino and cancel the heist. Go back to the Arcade and pay the 25k to start the heist again, and you should have a different item for your Vault Contents.
This will essentially allow you to get a second Vault Content item by trading 25k to start the heist a second time with about 8 minutes of finding and hacking / killing the Casino Security guy and going to the Casino.
If, once again, you get a Vault Content item you don't want, exit the arcade, call Lester & cancel the heist, enter your Arcade, rinse and repeat.

Personally, I cycle between Aggressive and The Big Con (Gruupe Sechs).

Now, because I prefer doing the heist through the Aggressive and The Big Con (Gruupe Sechs) approaches, I have little to no experience doing the Silent & Sneaky approach, and thus will be basing this post off of my personal experience in the other two approaches.
Note I'm not going to go into every single prep mission, mandatory or optional as that would take too much time for me. You can look up the rest of the preps on YouTube or Google. I'm only going over my preferred Gunman, Driver, Hacker, the preps that I prefer to do / prefer not to complete, and how I complete the heist.

Aggressive

Gunman: I prefer Patrick MacReary, 8%. I can't remember the other weapon available, but I know he allows you to choose an LMG with 100 round mags. I prefer to use the LMG. You can unlock by finding him in the back of a police van. Take the van to the objective area by following the yellow marker and you'll unlock him.
Driver: I prefer Karim Denz, 5%, which has decent vehicles. I prefer the Sentinel Classic.
Hacker: I prefer Paige Harris, 9%, which you can unlock by owning a Terrorbyte (which you can unlock by owning a Nightclub).

The preps I prefer to do are:

Unmarked Weapons, Getaway Vehicles, Hacking Device, Thermal Charges, Vault Explosives (I prefer to use a Stromberg while doing this mission), Reinforced Armor, Vault Keycards, Patrol Routes, Duggan Shipments, Security Intel (unlock by owning a penthouse and completing the penthouse missions), and Security Pass.
For the Reinforced Armor, I only do this if I have Gold or Diamonds as it slows you down. I also only do this if I am a low level or if I have low level teammates, because low level = low health. If I have Artwork or Cash I don't do this.
As for the Boring Machine prep, you don't need to have the Boring Machine to access the sewer. All you need to do is have took a picture of it and sent it to Lester during the Scope Out prep.

The Big Con

Gunman: I prefer Karl Abolaji, 5%. He has access to the Mini Uzi (I forget the in-game name) and the double barrel shotgun. I prefer the Mini Uzi. *You're going to be mostly going up to people and meleeing them / knocking them out instead of shooting them, unless you get caught, then you'll be shooting them.

Unmarked Weapons, Getaway vehicles, Hacking Device, Entry Disguises (2 preps), Vault Drills, Exit Disguise, Vault Keycards, Patrol Routes, Security Intel, and Security Pass.
I don't do Duggan Shipments as usually use my weapon to melee / knock out the security guards at the Casino, and since a melee is a one hit one kill, regardless of level of armor they're wearing, I don't usually do this mission.
Completing the Yung Ancestor missions allow you to have the Grotti Furia, a supercar, as an extra getaway vehicle, although it spawns in the parking lot which is surrounded by cops. I would not recommend doing this.
Again, 2 players are recommended. Start the Heist, get to the Vault. One of you work on the first main room with the big circle table in the centre while the other one will start hacking whichever doors lead to 2 or 3 Artwork or Gold / Diamond / Cash tables. Always go for the rooms that have more than one cart.
Tip: With Gold / Diamonds, you cannot sprint / run, you can however trot. If you go into First Person and tap / press and hold whatever your sprint / run button is, you'll see your character's weapon / screen shake, indicating that you're trotting. Doing this in First Person is actually faster than Third Person.

There are two was I like to lose the cops

1, through the sewer, and 2, by helicopter (Helicopter Route)
[Disclaimer: This strategy is not recommended if you're trying to get the Elite Challenge, as this will most likely take more than 15 minutes, or however long the given time is.]
Once you are out of the Casino, make it to the road. Drive to the sewer opening by the Casino, and if you don't have a car, just run to said sewer opening.

Note:

If you go back the way you came, or anywhere close to the Casino after you lose the cops, you will gain a wanted level again.
Proceed through the tunnel. You'll find a metal gate that you have to pass under, a small vent on the right side, and another vent on the left.
You'll come across 2 paths. Go up the metal ramp on the left. Proceed all the way down the tunnel and down the escalators and ramp downwards. Cross diagonally over the 2 train tracks into the next tunnel with a dirt floor.
You'll find 2 tunnels, left and right. Take either one. You'll find construction, go straight. After this, you'll see a big room. Go straight, take the immediate right and go up the ramps leading to the opening to the highway. If you dont have a car, get one or two and drive to the Buyer.

Ideas for new stuff

My friends and I had some ideas for new locations, POI's and vehicles that we'd like to see in the upcoming seasons and game in general:

I really hope you like my ideas and feel free to share your ideas in the comments! (just don't be mean if someone has a different opinion on the old island)
EDIT 1: I've added some more weapons and stuff.

This is bullshit!

First, you had to buy a $1,000,000+ arcade plus spend extra to furnish it just to lead the Diamond Casino heist and now you have to buy a $2,200,000 submarine just to start the Cayo Perico heist unless someone invites you! I stopped playing GTA Online until today and this shit is basically why! You have to spend Exorbitant amounts of money just to do anything worth a damn in the game!

(BUG) weapon livery colors reverting to default grey after death

with the latest injection to my GTA bank account from Twitch Prime, I decided it was time to finally make my guns match my character. since I typically wear the Geo Fox mask from the Casino heist and a red suit, I decided to make my guns orange with white liveries, or vice versa. The problem is that every time I die, the liveries on all my guns change from orange or white to the default gray and they don't change back unless I visit a weapons workshop. I know it's only visual, but it's annoying that I spent extra cash to make my weapons look good only for them to look like I dropped them in a dirty puddle anytime I die.

List Of Working Glitches [Mod Post]

This is the Working Glitches Thread! This is always being improved, and if you have any recommendations please let me know in the comments or send me a direct message. If you know a glitch is working on any other platform I haven't included or doesn't work anymore, also let us know. If a platform is in italics, it means it is unsure. Strikethrough means it is patched, and no longer works.

Gold Glitch Hacking Decision Tree 3.0 + Comprehensive Vault Guide for Gold & Artwork

Edit: Disclaimer that you should know how the gold glitch works before referring to my post. For a basic tutorial on the gold glitch check this guide out from TrueInfinite. My guide is meant to be the Step #2 to simplify dividing up carts/hacking doors.
-----------------------------------
Since trying to perfect my Casino Heist Game where I published the initial decision tree, I decided to test the hell out of the guide. I spent the past 3 weeks joining countless of Casino Heists, recording my time in the vault, and reviewed footage to analyze how things went.
What did I learn? Most of the decision tree was valid. Some vaults have multiple options which can lead to similar or even equal results with my guide. One mistake was pointed out by a friend of mine who helped me catch that Vault Layout #2 can follow the same door hack as #4/#6 to simplify the tree with equal take amount.
I took these experiences, went back and made some updates to the tree. I threw in a bunch of extra content which I found useful to optimize vault take amounts.
Without further ado, here's the new and updated GTA Vault Optimization Guide (Full Album Link).Edit: Zip Link

Item # Topic What is it?
1 Gold Glitch Hacking Decision Tree UPDATED: Decision tree to help you decide which door(s) to hack and in what order.
2 General Gold Glitch Strategy General tips & notes for gold glitch
3 Gold Glitch Timeline for Each Vault Layout / (Part 2) Detailed timeline for both players in every vault layout.
4 Fingerprint Recognition Guide Explanation of how to recognize fingerprint patterns quickly
5 Gold Glitch Video Examples Heist videos by vault layout
6 Artwork Hacking Decision Tree Decision tree to help you decide which door(s) to hack and in what order.
7 Artwork Timeline for Each Vault Layout / (Part 2) Detailed timeline for both players in every vault layout.

Video Examples
Vault # Grab Link Comments
1 $3,990,532 Youtube Non-hacker duplicates carts A, B, C, H, while hacker duplicates cart G. Cart F isn't necessary in general as there are already 5 carts including G. Every gold bar unlocked is taken
1 $3,613,002 (Normal) Youtube This is normal difficulty, so the grab isn't as high, but the total amount corresponds to 246 gold bars, which in hard mode would translate to 3.974 million. Non-hacker partner left 1 gold bar left.
2 $3,635,100 Youtube All 5 carts (A, B, C, E, F) are duplicated. The hacker duplicates E on his own and is pretty fast at hacking and manages to prep D before the timer hits 2:30. The decision tree recommends to hack the door to get H to keep the strategy consistent for layouts 2, 4, 6.
2 $3,683,568 YouTube All 5 carts (A, B, C, E, F) are duplicated. Second hacker manages to hack H (even with a mistake!) to grab H in the end for an extra 3 bars to put the team over the $3.665 million cap.
3, 5 $3,990,532 YouTube Duplicating of 5 carts (A, B, D, E, G). In this case the hacker is a little behind the non-hacker so the hacker preps only 1 cart (E) whereas the non-hacker preps the other 4 (A, B, D, G). The team grabs all 5 duplicated carts + 1 unduplicated cart (F).
4, 6 $3,263,512 YouTube This is the 2 hacker approach to get 4 carts fully duplicated + D cart. In this case the hacker accidentally grabs 2 bars while duplicating H which slows down the grab start a little bit, but nevertheless is able to grab everything unlocked.
4, 6 $3,187,079 (Normal) YouTube Normal Mode. Hacker hits door #3 immediately, informs non-hacker to help hit Door #1 to unlock D. Carts A, B, D, G, H are duplicated.

Original Background/Motivation
Closing
Huge shoutout to WarWithVarun-Varun, TrueInfinite, u/Flash_ZA for their vault layout guides/images as an inspiration.
Again, feedback, and commentary would be appreciated. There's a lot more content this time, so it's very easy for me to make mistakes. Feel free to point them out so I can correct them.
Edit: Bonus musings:
  1. For replay glitch I had been pulling plug right at the chopper hitting the checkpoint sound. Host never gets money, but it's a reliable way to make sure
  2. Late last week someone told me that I should add a delay--wait until the cutscene starts rolling and pull the plug ASAP. I've tried this and in 4/4 times I got my money, but 1 / 4 times I had my heist reset. Looks like as many have said the timing to ensure you get money but not the heist reset is extremely tough.
  3. Many recommend looking for transaction pending or orange circle, but that's inconsistent. The text isn't always there and it's a tiny corner of your screen to look at. You can't miss when your screen flashes to the cutscene.

In what ways can you make money in this game?

I wonder how V can make that extra cash besides doing main quest and side quests, It seems like you can buy alot of stuff, like cars, motorcycles, apartments? , cyberware, clothes , guns, attachments and enjoy all that Night City has to offer. Sound quite expensive and I dont think there will be many missions were you make alot of money so you can buy all you ever want for your V. It looks like you can make money on street races and maybe like assasination missions? Will we be able to rob small stores and rob NPC on the street? Loot dead bodies? And sell salvaged cyberware on the black market? Steal cars and sell them?
In GTA V they had these assasination missions which made an impact on the stock market and you could do invest in those to make some extra money. Could that also work in Cyberpunk? Can V own a business/ nightclub that generated income during time?
Can we gamble at a casino and bet everything on the roulette table? Or will there be new ways to make money in this game that we never have seen before?
So many questions. Any thoughts?
